BMW E88 120D Remap

Gain 37Bhp 75Nm
Despite being quoted a lower price for a remap Alan chose FlashRemapping because of our experience and professionalism. This 2013 car needs the ecu ( Bosch edc17c02) tuning on the bench and should be done by professionals. Super gains from the little convertible and the throttle response much sharper. Alan isn’t a particularly fast driver so will see good mpg savings from this remap too.

Skoda Yeti 2.0 TDi 140 Remap

This is the 4100st car to get the FlashRemapping treatment and the 4th for this customer yet it is the first Skoda Yeti we have ever remapped – fortunately its a very common engine/ecu combination the Bosche EDC17C46 ecu can be tuned OBD if we have a matching origional file but sadly not so out with the ecu and a read on the bench – Gains are fantastic giving a much better drive through the dsg box and haldex style 4wd

Mini Cooper SD Remap

The Mini Cooper SD has a 2 litre 141Bhp engine so think BMW 118D fitted with teh Bosch EDC17C41 ecu – now that normally puts the fear of god into tuners as the c41 and cp45 Bosch ecus need a board flip – but that is not the case with Mini versions – The Boot pin connection is on the front of the PCB board – 2 hours and the Mini is now a proper little pocket rocket with oodles of torque

Audi TT 1.8t 180PS Quattro Remap

A super clean TT with only 65K miles – getting preetty rare now and great to tune – Today we had a visit from Tony at Anglian Remaps who came along while we remapped this car – with an ME7 ecu was always going to be an hour to do
Great gains from the 1.8t Engine as usual

Citroen Nemo 1.3HDi Remap

Fist up this week is a brace of Citroen Nemos for a fuel saving remap along with 70mph (110 kph) speed limiters installed. Fleets are turning to this sort of remapping to increase profits by saving on fuel and speeding tickets

Mercedes E320CDi Remap

The w211 Mercedes can be remapped via the OBD port as it has a Bosch edc16 ECU – Although a big battery support is needed when writing the software as all teh engine bay fans will run while writing – It may only be for 3-4 minutes but that could flatten a battery if not supported. Superb gains on the Mercedes in both power and MPG

BMW E92 330D Remap

As always great gains from the 6 cylinder BMW diesel – with the Bosch edc16 ecu – slow read time of 35 minutes but just a couple of minutes to write – Drive completely transformed and if driven sensibly will see improved mpg too

Audi A4 2.0 TDi 140 Remap

A 2011 a4 so we need software from our database to tune OBD and we had that – so tuning the edc17c46 ecu is simplicity and all done in 45 minutes while I was stood looking down Zampa Road and the beautiful sight of the new Den – The car is now much faster , smoother and with improved mpg and better throttle response

Mercedes W212 E220CDi Remap

After previously owning a e350 cdi the e220 was a bit lightweight for Dean – Straight on teh phone to us and we were there same day to give his car a decent bit of extra oomph – not quite up there with the e350 but certainly up there with teh e250 now

Nissan Qashqai 1.5 DCi Remap

A blend remap for this 2012 Nissan Qashqai – which is a relatively fast OBD read and write job – this gives the benefit of extra bhp and torque but while keeping an eye on the all important fuel economy.

Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0 CRD Remap

Great to see Steve again a returning customer who still has the Citroen C5 we remapped for him 3-4 years ago – A lovely place to visit the Holland and Holland shooting range and its new state of the art indoor underground range. The car runs the Mercedes 3 litre diesel engine with Bosch EDC16 ecu so its simple to map and all done in 35 minutes. Steve is also looking for a CLS for family days so no doubt we will be back soon

VW Passat 2.0 Tdi Remap

Chris has had a number of cars remapped by FlashRemapping so knows what to expect, this one did surprise me a bit as despite being a 140Bhp version it had the Siemens ppd1.5 ecu rather than the more commonly used Bosch EDC16 unit. The Siemens ecu is more commonly used in the 170Bhp Version.
Still an easy OBD read and write and in under an hour he is on his way with more power smoother delivery and more mpg

Citroen Nemo 1.3HDi Remap

Another Nemo remapped for this company happy with the fuel savings from the remapping and speed limiter installation, Nothing too crazy but a 70MPH limit will stop the speeding tickets and as fuel economy drops dramatically the higher the speed this will also help

BMW 318I Remap

Not huge gains from naturally aspirated petrol engines but certain vehicles are worth while remapping. 4 cylinder BMW engines definitely fall into that category as the flat area ( i cant call it a spot as its too wide) from 1700 – 2100 rpm is so much improved. also a bit of extra power and throttle response right through the rev range make the hour long read worthwhile
