Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 CDTi Remap

Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 CDTi Remap

ECU Remapped 01/10/2014
Gain 33Bhp 65Nm ( Blend Remap)
Tri-core remap on the Vauxhall Insignia being a10 reg with and edc17cp19 ecu – but its simple to get out and open and it was back in the car and runningin less than 90 minutes, more powerful, smoother, better throttle response and more mpg

Mini cooper d Tuning

Mini cooper D Tuning

the 2012 onward mini with teh edc17cp41 ecu has not been cracked until very recently which was very annoying as we have one as the company van
thankfully cmd has them cracked now so development has started
112bhp and 199lb/ft is claimed from the 1.6d engine
and we were amazed at the stock run 133.5Bhp and 230lb/ft

Tuning has now taken place and mid range part throttle acceleration is vastly improved and the mpg-o-meter is going in the right direction

I will post the apres mapping dyno graph when I get a chance my best guess from driving is improved mid range torque but not too much at peak – well what was I expecting when it ran so far over stock initially

BMW E60 520D Remap

BMW E60 520D Remap

 ECU Remapped 03/10/2014
Gain 35 BHp 70Nm
Nice gains from the 177BHp 520d and being pre march 2009 even though it has a tri-core edc17 it can be tuned quickly and simply via the OBD diagnostic port – great gains and the drivablity and economy of the BMW is nicely improved

BMW X1 2.0D Remap

BMW X1 2.0D Remap

ECU Remapped 04/10/2014
Gain 35Bhp 70NM
The first BMW X1 I have remapped but it was never going to be a problem ecu located in exactly the same place as a 1 or 3 series so out of the car in 5 minutes, opened read / written and back in the car in 90 minutes and a quick test drive proved a really good improvement even though power was delivered through the BMW slush box

Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0 Crd Remap

Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0 Crd Remap

ECU Remapped 05/10/2014
Gain 30Bhp 60NM Blue Optimize Remap
Even though it was a 59 reg Chrysler still used the Bosch edc16 ecu with their version of the 3 litre mercedes diesel engine. So thats all good news for us a strong and tunable engine and an ecu that can be tuned via the OBD diagnostic port – the aim here was for improved economy and with the award winning Blue Optimize remap we will be looking at between 8 and 15% more mpg but also with improved bhp and torque and sharper throttle response

Nissan GTR 2014 Remap

Nissan GTR 2014 Remap

ECU Remapped 06/10/2014
Gain 70Bhp
Some days it doesnt even feel like work – Lovely customers and fantastic cars – This 2014 GTR is a beast and is fitted with de-cat Armytrix exhaust – Using ecu-tek we can install switchable mapping system via the OBD port and then adjust the boost as required at the time using the cruise control buttons – The car was fast to start with at 550BHp but now its even more bonkers – the road was wet on the test drive so launch control just span the wheels but in gear acceleration from 30mph to the legal limit ( obviously no faster than that ) seems to take but a split second – now let me raid my piggy bank cos I want one of these – £85 grand is a lot of money but for this car its a BARGAIN

Land Rover Freelander TD4 Remap

Land Rover Freelander TD4 Remap

ECU Remapped 10/10/2014
Gain 38Bhp 70Nm
having recently had his Freelander in for some work and having had a later SD4 courtesy car this customer wanted the extra power the SD4 offers – well our remap gives it exactly that – the edc16 ecu was one of the last before changing to edc17 in 2010 so its a simple OBD remap taking about an hour all in and now the Freelander is much more Torquey to drive

BMW E46 320D Manual Remap

BMW E46 320D Manual Remap

ECU Remapped 11/10/2014
Gain 40BHp 80Nm
Another e46 in great condition – boy these cars were built well and the 2 litre diesel engine is very strong – it can take a lot of tuning – gains of 40BHp 80Nm make a whole lot of difference and if driven sensibly even better fuel economy too

Mitsubishio EVO6 Remap

Mitsubishi EVO6 Remap

ECU Remapped 13/10/2014
gain 30BHp peak 45Bhp in rev range
55Nm peak 80Nm in rev range
This imported EVO 6 was pretty quick with upgraded rad, intercooler atmospheric dump valve and 3″ cat back exhaust but strangely had never been tuned – there is so much scope for tuning widening the available power band making it much nicer to drive and with open source tools its quick and easy to do

Renault Kangoo 1.5 Dci 70 Remap

Renault Kangoo 1.5 Dci 70 Remap

ECU Remapped 15/10/2014
Gain 20BHp 40Nm
The 1.5 dci renault engine is pretty frugal but with a remap it now doesn’t feel like it can’t pull the skin off a custard – its sharper on response and even better is more mpg – about 10% better in fact
So you dont need to buy a new van to get a newer van feeling get a remap

Audi A4 2.0 TDi 170 Remap

Audi A4 2.0 TDi 170 Remap

ECU Remapped 17/10/2014
Gain 35Bhp 70Nm
The B7 Audi 2.0 Tdi came in 2 BHp versions a 140BHp with a Bosch ECU and 170Bhp with a Siemens PPD1.3 ECU – All VAG cars with the 170Bhp have been recalled for injector replacement and without this remapping will probably cause more problems than its worth as the injectors fail. Fortunately this one had been in for the recall and results from the remapping were great more responsive and more power all over the rev range – Driven sensibly will also improve mpg

Porsche Boxster 986 S Remap

 Porsche Boxster 986 S Remap

ECU Remapped 20/10/2014
Gain 19Bhp 31Nm
There is a lot of difference between a boxster and a boxster S 2.5/2.7 litres Versus 3.2 litres – and this one being a 2003 was the later me7.8 ecu so 260Bhp in stock form – so the gains look quite modest but remember that is at peak and drivability is nicely improved as the throttle response is so much better. All in the remap really makes the car special

Aston Martin V8 Vantage Remap

Aston Martin V8 Vantage Remap

V-SWITCH sent 21/10/2014
Gain 30Bhp 40Nm
So you live in Austria and own a V8 Vantage to go driving in the Alps how do you get a FlashRemapping remap on your car – NO problem
we send you a V-Switch tuning system – simply plug into the OBD socket – read the car by following the simple instruction – plug teh v-switch into your computer and save the file to it and then email it through – shortly you will receive a modified file back and reverse the process – you now have a handheld programmer so you can switch between stock and modified software as often as you like
Now you laughing in your Lederhosen not crying in your Wienerschnitzel

Land Rover Defender 2.2d 2014 Remap

Land Rover Defender 2.2d 2014 Remap

ECU Remapped 22/10/2014
Gain 30Bhp 60Nm
The Defender shares the same basic engine as the Ford Transit, no surprise then that it also has a Siemens SID 208 ecu that can only be tuned on the bench and even then I have heard many tuners who still cannot remap this ecu type – we know why and can always remap them – Endowed with only 122Bhp in stock form this is not a sports car but the 30 extra Bhp makes a massive difference and its much nicer to drive. Get your Defender now before they stop production next year!

Mercedes w210 E220 CDi Remap

Mercedes w210 E220 CDi Remap

ECU Remapped 23/10/2014
Gain 38Bhp 75Nm
52 Reg Mercedes with no OBD2 plug was very strange – this one must have been sitting around for a while before it was sold new but its not a problem if you have the correct lead it still reads/writes the same but via the diagnostic port under the bonnet – Anyways Jaz an excellent German car specialist mechanic has this can as his run around and is happy with the comfort and “antique dealer” sized boot but it really lacked the get up and go and even felt dangerous pulling out at T junctions – once mapped he said ” Its a million times better” – now that might be a slight exaggeration but it can be the difference between loving a car and hating it

Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 cdti Remap

Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 cdti Remap

ECU Remapped 23/10/2014
Gain 35BHp 65Nm
Performance map on the Vauxhall just gives it the edge that it was lacking – Its a big car and felt lazy, now its got that bit of punch that makes it feel good to drive and less visits to the Esso garage
This one was registered 4/3/2009 so just scraped through being an OBD remap – a month or so later and it would be a bench tune

Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 cdti Remap

Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 cdti Remap

ECU Remapped 23/10/2014
Gain 60Bhp 110Nm
WOWZER I bet your saying – the last Insignia I listed only gained 35Bhp and yes this is only a blend remap – So why the big gain I hear you ask?
Simples – this puppy is the 130Bhp version with 300Nm of torque not the 160BHp 350Nm version of earlier in the day – and the joke of it all is – every 2.0 cdti Insignia came to the UK as a 160Bhp just many were “downtuned” by Vauxhall before they were sold – I suspect to fleets etc. So this means we can une them back to 160Bhp and then tune them further from there – Bingo its now the car it always should have been
This was a 59reg vehicle so definitely fitted with anti-tune so ecu out and on the bench to tune
