Ford Transit Connect Remap

Ford Transit Connect 1.8 TDCi Remap

ECU Remapped 02/01/2017
Gain 35BHP 70Nm
This 2011 Transit connect was in super condition and was teh 110 BHp version to start with – Thankfully Ford didnt change to bench tuning ecus till the 1.6 tdci connects in 2012 so this was a simple OBD remap taking 45 minutes
The gains are very good on these vehicles smoother and more powerful right through the rev range

Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCi Remap

Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCi 163 Remap

ECU remapped 02/01/2017
GaIn 35BHP 70Nm
This Ford Mondeo was the 163BHp version which is the more powerful of the two 2.0 TDCi diesel versions available in 2011 – but really good gains are available from the remap still – getting very close to the 200 bhp from a 2.0 litre diesel is very nice and of course more torque than you can wave a stick at

Vauxhall Zafira 1.9 CDTi Remap

Vauxhall Zafira 1.9 CDTi Remap

ECU Remapped 03/01/2017
Gain 38BHP 75Nm
When we say diesel Zafira you immediately think mini cab with 300k on the clock but not the case here – sensible mileage and this one has had the VXR treatment – full body kit and wheels and exhaust back boxes – it actually looked quite smart and the boot is enormous – its a practical vehicle but with those looks 150bhp just isnt going to cut the mustard so a remap installed in around an hour makes it a whole bunch more fun

VW Transporter t5 1.9 TDi Remap (2)

VW Transportr T5 1.9 TDi Remap

ECU Remapped 04/01/2017
Gain 40BHp 80Nm
Always good results from the t5 Transporters – and quick read and write times means in an hour you can transform your work vehicle – So much more torque makes them much easier to drive witout having to keep the revs up

Audi Q7 3.0 TDi Remap

Audi Q7 3.0 TDi Remap

ECU Remapped 0/01/2017
Gain 45Bhp 85Nm
The humongous Q7 is a real boat of a car – 245BHp in stock form is pretty good from its v6 3.0 diesel engine but response is slow and feels lethargic when driving – remapping for extra power improves performance throughout the rev range and gives better throttle response as well as improved fuel economy if driven any where near sensibly

Audi s6 Remap

Audi S6 4.0 TFSI Remap

ECU Remapped 07/01/2017
Gain 60Bhp 120Nm
Its Audi day at FlashRemapping and second up was this stunning 2015 S6 – with a 4.0 tfsi v8 engine and 444Bhp in stock form – its no slouch but with massive gains available from a tune via the OBD plug ( software match permitting ) it would be crazy not to – Now boasting in excess of 500 Bhp the car is super quick – I want the seats from one of these cars please they look a whole bunch more comfy than my van seats probably to support you when you hit the loud pedal

Audi A4 2.0 Tdi 170 Remap

Audi A4 2.0 Tdi 170PS Remap

ECU Remapped 10/01/2017
Gain 35BHp 70Nm
Occasionally we get a car in to remap that just doesnt want to be tuned – like they get a mind of their own – this 56 plate a4 was one of those cars – The siemens ppd1.3 ecu should be easily readable via the OBD plug either using k line or Can – but either way using the Alientch kess we get a message ” security code not ready ” usually when we see this it is because the car has been previously tuned by Revo or APR who lock the ecu once they have mapped it. The next option was to remove the ecu and tune on the bench again using Alientech product – this time the K-Tag – we get the message ” Hardware configuration not supported” how strange never had we failed to read one of these ecus on the car or on the bench – returning the ecu to the car we tried again to read OBD this time using CMD and it read first time – how strange – mapping is as straightforward as usual and the modified software loaded with no incident and the car now driving strongly

Jaguar XF 3.0D Remap

Jaguar XF 3.0D Remap

ECU Remapped 12/01/2017
Gain 42bhp 80Nm
Jaguar XF diesels have to be tuned on the bench whenthey re the 3.0 litre engines – he earlier 2.7 can be tuned via the OBD plug
gains are great on teh big Jag with improved performance , throttle response and more mpg too

BMW E46 330D Remap

BMW E46 330D Remap

ECU Remapped 14/01/2017
Gain 42BHp 90Nm
The e46 was a really strongly built car and despite being 15 years old this one was in superb condition – remapping the Bosch dde4.0 is simple task taking just under and hour and the gains well just superb – more response throughout the rev range – better throttle response and more mpg

Dodge Journey 2.0crd Remap

Dodge Journey 2.0 CRD Remap

ECU Remapped 25/01/2016
Gain 40BHp 80Nm
This was a 2010 Dodge Journey so what engine would you expect to find – well actually it is a 2.0 VAG diesel engine with a Bosch EDC16U31 ECU which are bread and butter remaps for us and simple OBD remap with reading writing times exactly the same as in a VAG vehicle – the gains are great as 140BHp is pretty lethargic in such a big vehicle – The owner can now enjoy his Journey

Ford Transit Connect Remap

Ford Transit Connect 1.8 Remap

ECU Remapped 25/01/2017
Gain 25BHp 50Nm
Another underpowered van gets the FlashRemapping treatment – and although 100 BHp wont set any speed records its a 33% increase over stock and much needed even if this van rarely carries much weight

Ford Transit Motorhome Remap

Ford Transit 2.2 TDCi 130 Motorhome Remap

ECU Remapped 26/01/2017
Gain 30BHp 60Nm
Despite there being flakes of snow in the air they tell me spring is just around the corner and the Motorhome brigade are getting itchy feet – Most motorhomes are based on vans and this is no exception – its a 2.2 litre transit and that makes tuning the Visteon ecu very easy and very rewarding – much more torque will help beat the dreaded wind resistance and make for happier cruising and acceleration

Audi A4 2.0 TDi Remap

Audi A4 2.0 TDi 140 Remap

ECU Remapped 28/01/2017
Gain 40BHp 80Nm
A 2008 Audi will remap OBD even though its fitted with a Bosch EDC17CP14 ECU – pretty quick read and write times get this job done in under an hour and the gains are simply fantastic – Loads of torque gains and better throttle response make it well worthwhile

BMW 335i E92 Remap

BMW E92 335i Remap

ECU Remapped 28/01/2017
Gain 45Bhp 60Nm
Now this is one car we cannot remap in an hour – The MSD80 ECU takes about an hour to read the software from the car. This car is now 10 years old but only 49K on the clock its still a dam good vehicle – now with 350Bhp its not too shabby off the mark too
Bring on the next 10 years

Mercedes E220 CDi Coupe Remap

Mercedes E220 Cdi Remap

ECU Remapped 29/01/2017
Gain 38Bhp 75Nm
A manual E220 that is a bit of a rarity but still no problem to remap on a Sunday morning – The Delphi ECU will read a write via the OBD port so teh process takes around an hour all in – Leaving enough time for the customer to get down to the car wash again, White cars are lovely but not at this time of year
