Honda Civic 2.2i-CDTi 138Bhp
ECU Remapped 01/08/11
Gain 38Bhp 75Nm
Pete was a little frustrated with this Honda – Its a good car but just didnt want to get away from the line quick enough – He let us loose with the laptop for an hour or so and now hes happy again, this is a real boon for the Honda its just so much more responsive
BMW 118D 2007/57 143Bhp
ECU Remapped 01/08/11
Gain 37Bhp 75Nm
Built after 25th week of 2007 mean this 118D had the upgrade from 125 to 143Bhp standard but we can still do good work here – nice gains and a sharper drive, will also improve fuel economy
Citroen DS3 E-HDi 90Bhp
ECU Remapped 02/08/11
Gian 30Bhp 45Nm
This is the first of the e-hdi ds3 s we have remapped – the same edc17 ecu as the previous 99g and 104g models but this one has a different eeprom chip – the boot pin on the board is incredibly small but we managed it ok – the file is scimilar to to 99g but with different reference points within  the filing and the flash file 2.5mb against 4mb for the previous models – teh ds3 drove very well after the map virtually curing the flat spots – sharper response and no difficulties with the start stop technology that still operates correctly
VW Golf GTI 2.0TFSi – 197Bhp
ECU Remapped 02/08/11

Gain 40BHp 80Nm
This car belongs to FlashRemappings accountant – after getting out of his schoolboy Fabia that was quite well modified he has moved to something a bit more “grown-up” but despite being an accountant he still has a boyish urge so I get the feeling this VW will soon be de-catted and have a CAI to add to the remap – will keep you posted
Nissan Almera 2001 2.2 di 110Bhp
ECU Remapped 04/08/11
Gain 30Bhp 60Nm
Just a little underpowered these 2.2 Di Nissans and a bit slow off the line – but the remap fixes that and now has sharper throttle response and gets away the way you would like it to.
Range Rover Sport TDV6 190Bhp
ECU Remapped 04/08/11
Gain 42Bhp 95Nm
These Rangies are a really nice car but a bit lathargic in before remapping – The gains are nice and certainly give it an edge but fuel savings of 3-4 mpg are even better
BMW 325i Coupe 218BHp
ECU Remapped 05/08/11
Gain 17Bhp 30Nm
We definately know our BMWs and we can get more power and better economy from these 3 litre 325s
If only I could take a photo with my phone without getting my podgy digit in the way
BMW 318i Cabriolet 145Bhp
ECU Remapped 05/08/11
Gain 17Bhp 24Nm
This is Bobs BMW – he is a BMW technician and is fed up with the low speed drag on these n42 engines – while we cannot cure the judder from idle completely we can improve it significantly and now pulls healthily from the off and through 2100 rpm where the problems were before
added power throughout the rev range and improved mpg also come with a FlashRemapping remap – now stop playing with the variable valve lift Bob – just because you have Autologic doesnt mean you can cure everything – leave this to the professionals
VW Transporter T5 2.0TDi Twin Turbo 180Bhp
V-Box fitted 08/08/11
Gain 35Bhp 70Nm
Kev travels a long way this 1 year old transporter has already covered 46k and despite being told it will be more economical than his previous 2.5 TDi he has only averaged 26mpg – so while the extra Bhp is welcome its mpg we ae after here – will report back after he has done a few more miles – wont be long I’m sure
Citroen Nemo 1.4 HDI 70Bhp Sensodrive
ECU Remapped 09/08/11
Gain 18Bhp 35Nm
Fitted with the automaticish gearbox this Nemo can’t take full tuning as the gearbox is a little weak so we carried out a mild tune – but noticed a real difference on the drive – no longer lethargic and has sharped up throttle response and gear changes
VW Transporter T5 1.9 TDI 104
ECU Remapped 11/08/11
Gain 28Bhp 55Nm
Economy is all important for this customer and as this van doesn’t often carry anything an eco tune was the order of the day
Mercedes Sprinter 308 82Bhp
ECU Remapped 11/08/11
Gain 33BHp 65Nm
An other economy based remap but with such low power initially and the fact this van often carries pallets of heavy stone flooring a slightly higher state of tune was chosen
It will now not struggle uphill when laden and reduce fuel consumption considerably
Audi A6 2.7 V6 TDi 178
ECU Remapped 11/08/11
Gain 50Bhp 110Nm
Its all about the power here and boy can we deliver – and its also silky smooth after a remap pulls strongly right through the rev range till the tacho is deep in the red zone – I have remapped many many vehicles but this even I have to say is one of the most impressive results
Land Rover Discovery TD5
ECU Remapped 12/08/11
Gain 35Bhp 70Nm
Steve previously had a bmw 335i which we remapped so he was suprised to hear me say “its done” after 45minutes
the read and write is so fast on these – 1 minute each – compared to 50 minute read and 35 minute write on the BMW – still the results are pretty impressive making the big 4wd hustle down the raod a lot more swiftly
VW Caravelle 2.5 TDI 102
ECU Remapped 12/08/11
Gain 38BHp 85Nm
The very first of the Caravelle/ Transporters that can be remapped via the OBD port – this 2000/w reg is now a lot more spritely – you can tell if yours is remappable this way by checking if it is drive-by-wire (no throttle cable) – if it is then this is the process, if it has a throttle cable we will need to remove the ecu and replace the eeprom chip
Audi A3 2.0 TDi 170Bhp DSG
ECU Remapped 14/08/11 – Economy Tune
Gain 30Bhp 70Nm
Mickey has just bought this unusually coloured a3 and plans to keep it long term- well he will get his costs back here time and again with an economy tune – 8-15% savings on fuel will be seen as well as a gain in power and improved throttle response
Mini Cooper S 2007 1.6Turbo 174Bhp
ECU Remapped 15/08/11
Gain 30Bhp 60Nm
Having downsized cars Richard wanted a bit of fun with his mini and theis extra power and throttle response will certainly help out here
Mercedes ML270CDi  163Bhp
ECU Remapped 15/08/11
Gain 42Bhp 80Nm
These 4WD Mercedes are fine vehicles but annoyingly lethargic especially in Automatic mode – this remap helps boost performance and economy and makes them a whole lot easier to live with
Subaru Impreza WRX 225Bhp
ECU Remapped 18/08/11
gain 30Bhp 55Nm
First outing for our new tool that remaps Subaru and Mitsubishi ecus and after a few initial teething troubles it is actually a very good tool – now about these Subarus – too often I get a call from an owner that starts “how much can you give it?” well let me tell you tuning an Impreza is not about the bhp at top end which does increase in this case by 30Bhp but more about the usable power band – with a FlashRemapping tune 500+ rpm either side of peak power its will be better by 45Bhp making a much more usable wide power band so the car doesnt get that “off power” feeling so often.
