VW Golf V R32 Remap

VW Golf v R32 Remap

ECU Remapped 02/06/2015 in Eltham
Gain 22Bhp 35Nm
This 58 Reg Golf R32 is one of the last of the v6 3.2 litred Golf.
From the mk6 the most powerful versions are 2.0 litre tfsi engines but there is something about the NASP 3.2 that is great – the power delivery and the exhaust not are just right – and now they dont make this anymore values are sure to stay strong for a good condition R32 – Mapping them really just tightens everything up nicely – better throttle response and sharper power.

Audi A4 2.0 TDi Remap

ECU Remapped 04/06/2015 in Gravesend
Gain 40BHp 80Nm
This Audi was registered in April 2009 so touch and go whether it had anti-tune software – even if it does it is still possible that we can tune obd if the ecu is not a cp04 or 14 variant and we have a copy of identical software read on the bench from another car before – Thankfully this car was pre the anti-tune software update from Audi so a simple OBD remap in about an hour.
The car is now faster smoother and more responsive

Peugeot 207 1.6 Hdi Remap and EGR Delete

ECU Remapped 05/06/2015
Gain 20 BHp 40Nm Blend Remap
We remap all sort of cars big and small, Petrol and diesel, This 207 came in to us with the usual DV6TED problem of EGR valve causing the car to idle erratically and eventually stall. Its fiddly and expensive to change the egr valve as its down the back of teh engine block so to solve the problem permanently we unplugged the electronic actuator to the EGR and deleted the duty cycle map from the ecu – and well it would be just rude not to give it a remap while we had the ecu data read – a Blend map here for a nice bit of extra poke and nice fuel savings too – now thats a job well done

A mans van is his domain – the nerve centre of his business on many occasions – customed to everything he needs on a daily basis and we know this more than most – our own van is exactly the same – So why not make the most of the van you have with a remap from FlashRemapping – more, smoother power and better fuel economy cant argue with that
So how did we remap this one – down the plug or on the bench ?
The clue is in the photograph LOL

BMW 520D F11 Remap

BMW 520D F11 184 Bhp Remap

ECU Remapped 09/06/2015
Gain 37 Bhp 80Nm
Another F series 5er diesel – this time the estate or should I say touring version – same edc17 ecu but this time a C41 DDE8 but with GPT so requiring a few extra solders from the earlier versions of this ecu – Of course it required flipping the board over which is not my favorite task but all in a days work – It certainly goes nicely now and by the time I got home the customer had emailed to say how happy he was – not surprising a super family car but with nice smooth power and 50 mpg potential – you cant ask for much more

Mitsubishi EVO9 Remap

Mitsubishi EVO 9 Remap

ECU Remapped 12/06/2015
Gain 30BHP 55NM
It was a really hot n sticky day today so no problem to take a drive down to Hastings and remap this EVO right on the seafront – wanted to go for a paddle to cool off but there was BHP to be found – so quick to read and then find a compatible settings file to compliment the s/w as I didnt have one loaded on the computer maybe because this car is an import GSR with 276 bhp – no problem though and 90 minutes or so later its up 30 bhp peak and 45-50 bhp through the rev range and 55nm peak and up to 80nm through the rev range making a wider more usable power band – Also a quich delete of the p0420-0430 fault code relating to CAT efficiency as this has been lost in transit on its way from Japan and its good to go – A very happy customer now looking to upgrade the intercooler to release even more ponies

Ford Galaxy 1.9 TDi Remap

Ford Galaxy 1.9 tdi remap

Ecu Remapped 13/06/2015
Gain 38 Bhp 75nm
If you want a low cost people carrier these Galxy/ Alhambra/ Sharans are a good option and when they have the 130ps 1.9 tdi engine they are a good thing – the 130 drives better than the 150s as the turbo gives a better drive over a wider power band – they also tune extremely well giving just touching 170 bhp and improved fuel economy – torque request map also sharpens the throttle up nicely
get yourselves on autotrader and buy one now

Mercedes E350 CDI Remap

Mercedes e350 cdi remap

ECU Remapped 15/06/2015
Gain 38BHp 85Nm
being a 2010 vehicle we need to remove the ecu to tune on the bench – Mercedes in their wisdom decided to put the ecu inside the offside wing behind the wheel arch liner – at least we know where it is as its in the same position on all 3 lite e classes and MLs – Nice gains on these Mercs though and a smoother more responsive drive with improved fuel economy too

VW Transporter t5.1 Bi Turbo Remap

VW Transporter T5.1 2.0 BiTurbo Remap

ECU Remapped 16/06/2015
Gain 40BHp 80Nm
This is one loaded Transporter with the most powerful 2.0 tdi Bi Turbo engine boasting 180BHp stock, It was also a DSG gearbox and 4motion as well – To make it a family vehicle it is also the Kombi with 3 rear seats and side windows – Its certainly a desirable VeDub. If 180BHp isnt enough for you a simple OBD remap gains another 40 BHp and 80Nm of torque – lovely

VW T5.1 80PS Remap

VW Transporter T5.1 180PS Remap

ECU Remapped 16/06/2015
Gain 40BHp 80Nm
Second T5.1 of the day and again the 2.0 tdi Biturbo version. Thsi one with just under 1000 miles on the clock – Nice gains and easy to do now we can remap them via the OBD socket ( most of the time )

VW Paasat 2.0 tdi remap

VW Passat 2.0 tdi remap

ECU Remapped 19/06/2015 in Dartford
gain 33bhp 65Nm ( Blend )
I have beed pretty lucky recently, 3rd 09 reg Vag in a row that has an edc17cp14 ecu that didnt have anti-tune software – If it did it would be an ecu out tri-core tune as the cp14 is one version of the edc17 that we cannot bypass the anti-tune encryption on these VAG vehicles – Nice gains and better fuel economy exactly what the taxi trade require

Audi A6 2.7 TDi Remap

Audi A6 2.7 TDi Remap

ECU Remapped 22/06/2015
Gain 50BHp 100Nm
This was a 2010 model with an edc17cp14 ecu so straight away we know this is a bench tune but its no problem ecu comes out in a couple of minutes and opened in a couple more – Its massive gains from the underpowered 2.7 litre diesel engine and really you would be crazy not to remap yours

BMW E90 330D Remap

BMW E90 330D Remap

ECU Remapped 23/06/2015
Gain 42BHp 90Nm
the 3 litre straight six diesel engine from BMW is already good but why not make it great 42bhp and 90 nm added in 75 minutes with a bit of software revision and if driven any where near sensibly will also give better mpg – now that sounds like something worth doing

Audi A3 3.2 Remap

Audi A3 3.2 Remap

ECU Remapped 24/06/2015
Gain 24BHp 32Nm
With a full auto box this audi was in super condition and now the 3.2 litre engine is not in production these vehicles are becoming a wanted thing – The remap adds roughly 10% bhp and also smooths the power delivery which sharpening up the throttle response – nice gains for a nice car

Audi S4 4.2 Remap

Audi S4 4.2 Remap

ECU Remapped 27/06/2015
Gain 28Bhp 40Nm
With the engine oil now flushed through and it running a lot better in fact absolutely perfectly we can carry on with the remap which is pretty straight forward on the S4 – none of the twin ecu nonsense that is on the RS4 so the job takes just an hour and the test drive with fresh oil and a remap is a revelation – smoother and the throttle response alone makes this well worthwhile

Mercedes c200 cdi Remap

Mercedes c200 cdi remap

Ecu Remapped 29/06/2015
Gain 35bhp 70Nm (blend remap)
with only 122 bhp in stock form the 2148cc Mercedes is most definitely underwhelming – even this blend level remap makes thinks a whole lot better up to nearly 160 bhp thats a whole raft better and will be better on fuel too

BMW E53 X5 3.0D Remap

BMW E53 X5 3.0D Remap

ECU Remapped 29/06/2015
Gain 37Bhp 75Nm ( Blend Remap )
Its been a while since we have seen one of the e53 BMWs in for a remap I guess most have already been tuned but this was a nice low miler with leather and all the toys so its still a very useful vehicle with many more miles to cover – A blend remap will give much better performance but with improved fuel economy too – who said said you cant have your cake and eat it
