Mercedes E240 Auto 175 Bhp
ECU Remapped 10/11/2011
Gain 16Bhp 22Nm
Ok not massive numbers here but the drive is much improved with a massive reduction in throttle lag being the obvious difference – but it also has a nice improvement in mid range torque – altogether a worthwhile upgrade

Mini Cooper S Supercharged 174Bhp
ECU Remapped 10/11/2011
Gain 10BHp 18Nm
In Bhp terms we can obviously do more for the later Cooper S turbo versions but dont let these figures fool you –
the remapped version has a torque gain right through the rev range making this a very nice upgrade, and sharper throttle response too

Ford Transit 2.5 TDCI 110Bhp
ECU Remapped 10/11/2011
Gain 30BHp 60Nm
It was dark by the time I was remapping this Ford Transit so no photo was possible – I have borrowed this one from Google – nice gains on these mk7 Transits and will see good fuel economy improvements too if our experience is anything to go by

BMW 320D Auto E90 163Bhp
ECU Remapped 11/11/2011
Gain 42BHP 80NM
After having a new gearbox fitted this customer wanted a bit more zip like his Audi 2.0 TDi but with an auto slush box it needed more power
We can go further with this engine adding 54Bhp but wanted to stay in super safe limits and improve the mpg so we went for a blend tune
The roads were very wet on the test drive so had to take it easy but could still feel the extra torque and better throttle response

Ford Focus ST 2.5Litre 225BHp
ECU Remapped 11/11/2011
Gian 50BHp 100Nm
These Fords are super with the 2.5 Litre Volvo engine but a bit more power is very welcome – 50 BHp and 100Nm is a great gain from a remap alone – not many tuners can do these Fords but fortunately we have invested in equipment so they are no problem to us

Vauxall Zafira 1.9CDTI 150BHP
ECU Remapped and DPF Delete 11/11/2011
Gain 40BHp 80Nm
DPFs are the scurge of the motor trade – if you own a diesel vehicle with one you will probably know all about it – regeneration problems are well known especially if you dont do much motorway driving – fortunately we can remove the software controlling the DPF function
The filter itself has to be removed as well which we can do – but in this case the owner has the garage facilities to do this himself – even more power will be unlocked once the filter itself is removed and a very healthy improvement in mpg

Mercedes ML270 CDI 163Bhp
ECU Remapped 12/11/2011
Gain 38BHP 75Nm
I really do like these big Mercs but they are just too underpowered – 38Bhp is a much needed addition making them capable of keeping up with traffic and even feeling lively at times.  If you have a Mercedes ML270 CDI you need a FlashRemapping remap

Citroen DS3 1.6 HDi 90BHp
ECU Remapped 15/11/11
Gain 30BHp 45Nm
Another in a long line of Citroen Ds3 s we have remapped and this one went as well as the others – this is the 104g version that is only £20 a year road tax – now pushing out over 120BHp – two fingers to the Chancellor there then

Mercedes C220 CDI BlueEfficiency 170Bhp
ECU Remapped 15/11/2011
Gain 52BHp 135Nm
The new Mercedes C220 CDI comes with a Delphi DCM3.5 ECU that we can now remap via the OBD port – and look at these results – this car is now very quick indeed

and here is the dyno graph with Torque curve added

Peugeot 407 2.0 HDi 136Bhp
ECU Remapped 18/11/2011
Gain 30Bhp 60Nm
This 2006 Peugeot has some nice extras like leather interior, heated electric seats and a 6 speed gearbox, but its just a bit underpowered by the standards we now expect. Remapping makes the difference – we are quoting gains rather on the conservative side here, its probably a bit more than 30BHp but its certainly makes a big difference to the drive

BMW 320D E90 163Bhp
ECU Remapped 20/11/2011
Gain 54Bhp 95Nm
Since we reinvestigated our remap for the now defunct Redline magazine the performance remap on the 320D has been very popular – not supprising when you look at these figures – I dont think anyone else can genuinely claim gains in this league

Vauxhall VX 220 Turbo   200BHp
ECU Remapped 21/11/2011
Gain 35Bhp 70Nm
“Something for the weekend Sir” …Oh yes these are pretty rare and pretty light and pretty powerful – you would be hard pushed to have one as a day-to-day driver but as a weekend funster they are great and even better with a remap – now if I could lose 4 stone in weight I might fit in one

VW Golf 1.9 TDI Match 104BHp
ECU Remapped 23/11/2011
Gain 38BHp 75Nm
Ben bought this Golf a few weeks ago and wanted it to be equal in performance to the GT TDI so bought a Bluefin self tune module from a well known tuner – the modified map for his car was returned to him instantly and was uploaded to the car – not much gain though – if the file is returned this quickly it is most definately a library file probably only adjusting a couple of parameters such as boost and maf.  He wasnt happy so returned the car to stock and sent the Bluefin back – and called FlashRemapping.  We turned up the next day from the call and after 90 minutes it was ready to try – Ben was delighted, smoother power delivery and the car now just charges through the revs to the governor.  If you are buying a self tune system like our V-Switch make sure the modified files are custom and NOT generic library files – if you are in doubt call us for advice. FlashRemapping only use custom written files.

Audi A4 2.0T Tfsi 197 Bhp
ECU Remapped 23/11/2011
Gain 40BHp 80Nm
Adorned with the same engine as the VW Golf GTI these 2 litre TFSI engined cars have a lot to give and this one didn’t disappoint either, 40+bhp gains means the traction control light can be lit with a squeeze of the loud pedal.
Enjoy Mark!

Audio A4 1.9Tdi Quatro 130BHp
ECU Remapped 25/11/2011
Gain 38BHp 75Nm
Jeremy has owned this Audi for a couple of years and as you would expect does eveything that is required of it – he has saved up for a new car but why change car when you can get a new car for £219 with a remap?  Thats exactly what we have done here – just given the car a new lease of life so it is still as practical as ever,  now more than a bit sharper

BMW 335I Cabriolet 304Bhp
ECU Remapped 25/11/2011
Gain 78BHp 90Nm
Nigel has had his Audi remapped by us and since trading in his other car for this lovely 335i, has called us to remap it.
Its massive gains putting it very close to the M3 for power … and silky smooth

SAAB 9-3 1.9 TiD 120Bhp
ECU Remapped 26/11/2011
Gain 38BHp 75Nm
Okay, I forgot to take a photo again so this photo borrowed from Google – but what about the car?  120Bhp is underpowered by today’s standard.  The 150BHp version is more usable but what happens when you find a low milage 120BHp at the right price with the right spec?  Well bring it to FlashRemapping – we can get nearly 40 Bhp from these GM engined SAABs making a whole whole world of difference

Ford Transit 2.4 TDCi 140BHp
ECU Remapped 29/11/2011
Gain 30BHp 60Nm
Plumbers love speed – thats why so many of them have moved from copper to Hep2o pipes when fitting pipework, so this plumber bought the fastest transit available but he wanted more – well we gave hime more – very impressed with the extra torque on the test drive.  I think he will get better fuel consumption as well as responding well with a performance remap for those with a large right foot

VW Caddy 2.0 SDi 69Bhp
ECU Remapped 29/11/2011
GAIN 12Bhp 20Nm
Okay, not massive gains here but it certainly makes the difference – we know these well as we have a caddy SDi on the fleet that has had its map on for nearly 70k miles now.
This one feels like the handbrake has been released once remapped and if our experience is anything to go by will get 50-70 extra miles per tankful

AUDI A4 2.0 TDi 140Bhp
ECU Remapped 29/11/2011
Gain 40BHp 80Nm
Dean had his previous car remapped by FlashRemapping so was keen to get his new ride remapped – we were out the next day and now he can get around SW London a bit quicker – Enjoy Dean

 Mercedes Sprinter 311
ECU Remapped and speed limiter removal 30/11/2011
Gain 38BHp 75Nm
LIBRARY PHOTO
I have known Dan for many years and his son who has a band just bought a a Mercedes 311 Sprinter to take equipment to gigs but has found this sprinter was speed restricted – no problem we can remove this if it is a software restrictor which it was and we also gave them a bit more power – no longer late on stage#

LTI TX2 Taxi – London Black Cab
ECU Remapped 30/11/2011
Gain 20BHp 35Nm
The TX2 London Taxi is fitted with a lame 2.5 diesel engine from a ford transit – even worse it is mated to an automatic gearbox – but its not really pace we are after
safe tuning to ensure longevity and better mpg is what is called for here . We have previously remapped a fair number of LTI taxis and gains are arond 2-4mpg – happy cabby

Iveco Daily Beavertail 2.8 diesel
V-BOX fitted 30/11/2011
Gain 30BHp 60Nm
LIBRARY PHOTO
when you travel the length and bredth of the country racing cars and even tow a trailer the Iveco just doesnt have enough oompfff    – A v-box diesel tuning box gains power and improves fuel economy on these vehicles – that is why they have been recommended by motoring guru Quentin Wilson
