Vauxhall Zafira 1.7 CDTi Remap

ECU Remapped and DPF Deleted 14/11/2013
Gain 20bhp 40Nm ( Blue Optimize)
Hello mate can you come and do a dpf delete on a 1.9 cdti Zafira – we are cutting the DPF out now – yes of course – but when I arrived I realised this was a 1.7 cdti not a 1.9 massive difference – the 1.9 is down the plug the 1.7 is a denso ecu that has to be bench tuned and is a bugger ( same …ecu as a Nissan navaara if you know). I m not going to let the customer down so quickly pulled out the ecu and took it back to the workshop where its easier to do the soldering – different pins for reading and writing – and shot back over to the garage to reinstall the ecu – now its quicker much more economical and will be cabbing is way round Catford for a few more years yet – Of note the problem was caused by a split in the pressure sensor hose from the DPF – its a very common problem on the Vauxhalls and I would check this on services to avoid costly repairs

Another E46 in really great condition – 12 years old but you would never know very straight on the body and not a spot of rust anywhere – no wonder these cars are so popular and with 40 bhp just waiting to be tuned into it to make it a swift and economical ride

Subaru Impreza WRX Remap and Dyno Session

with a few tastful mods this car came in to us running 230bhp which is pretty good – initial remapping made 30bhp gain but we felt that the boost was not as strong as it should be against the requested boost level so a quick play with the wastgate duty cycle map and out pops another 10ish bhp    lovely

Jaguar S-Type 2.7d Remap

The twin turbo diesel boasts just over 200 bhp in stock form – now this one gets close to 250 and still better on fuel – lovely jubbely

VW Touareg 2.5 tdi Remap

The 2.5 litre TDi is a tad underpowered and I know many people who drive them constantly in sport mode to get a better drive – a remap is definitely the answer here 38 more ponies and a massive 90Nm of torque mean a much more relaxed drive with the power you need on tap

Vauxhall Vectra 2.8 v6 Turbo Remap

Ok its not the VXR version but with 280BHp available in stock form and now with an additional 35 units of chuckle factor its a nice sleeper of a car – and it had heated seats so guess where I was sitting while doing the remapping as the snow fell on Watford

Subaru Impreza WRX 2.5 Hawkeye Remap

Gain 30 BHp  55Nm Peak – 45BHp 80Nm through the rev range
Not only did we remap this scoobie but we cured a problem that the car had – These cars have a secondary air pump which is meant to help reduce emissions on start up but this system had broken and had been removed by the customer – producing a CEL light and code p2433 so we deleted this from the ecu data along with the usual p0420 codes relating to CAT efficiency as this was likely to come on with the air pump removed – all better now and faster – yeeha

Land Rover Discovery TD5 Remap

Good gains from the TD5 engine makes this the vehicle it should always have been – so much freer revving and sharper throttle – point of note here this was an 02 facelift ( you can tell as the rear lights have no orange indicator lens ) this means they can be remapped via the OBD port – earlier ones need to be chipped ( removing the eprom chip from the ecu and reading/writing directly to it )

BMW 325D 3.0Litre Remap

The e90 diesel BMWs are so very tunable – great gains here will also see improved throttle response and better mpg too

Sharper throttle response mid range torque make this a worthwhile remap although the top end figure doesn’t look that impressive the drivability of the vehicle is nicely improved

Porsche Cayenne Turbo 4.5 Remap

Ok 450bhp is not a bad place to start if you want a punchy 4X4 and now its even better again sharper response smoother power delivery available with our remapping

Mercedes c200cdi Coupe Remap

122Bhp in stock form from the c200cdi well below the 220cdi version but Andy had bought this car for its decent mileage and it was loaded with leather dual sunroof so it was too good to miss knowing that for £300 we can get the performance above and beyond the 220cdi – He was to say the least rather happy with his “second new car”

Mazda 6 Dpf Removal and Remap

Another Mazda with a clogged DPF so we have removed it and remapped it also giving the car an oil and filter change as is best practice with these vehicles as when the DPF blocks diesel and ash can contaminate the oil which can lead to more problems – We have DPF deleted so many of these Mazdas now I would say we are experts and know how to clear ash counters and reset oil levels so the MIL light does not come back at a later date

Vauxhall Insignia DPF Removal and Remap

London driving causes problems for diesel vehicles with a DPF as the filter cannot regenerate – Save over 65% of the cost of replacement by removing the filter and remapping the ecu so the car no longer thinks it has a DPF – and why not give it a performance boost at the same time – this was a bench tune as a late 2009 vehicle with edc17cp19 ecu with anti-tune protection
