BMW E87 118D Remap

Gain 35BHp 70Nm
With only 122 BHp to start with from its 2.0 litre engine there was always going to be scope for nice improvements from this super clean BMW 1er and after a lengthy read the edc16 ecu can be modified simply yet effectively to give 35 extra BHp and 70Nm of added torque – this level of tuning will also improve mpg.

Audi A3 2.0 TFSi Quattro Remap

Gain 50BHp 90Nm
These 2.0 litre TFSi VAG group engines tune so well – 50 bhp and 90Nm not only makes these faster and improved throttle response will make them feel nicer to drive and also smoother. Fuel economy would be improved slightly if driven sensibly but with all that extra oomph its hard to do

 

Audi A3 1.6 FSi Remap

OK its not a big gain but this car only had 102 BHp to start with so everything helps – throttle response smoothness and a bit more power its certainly worth remapping. And with Siemens Simos 7.1 ecu its very fast 2 minute read 1 minute write and quick to amke the necessary modifications in the file – 25 minutes in total

 

Vauxhall Zafira 1.9 CDTi Remap

Mercedes w204 C250 Cdi Coupe Remap

Nice gains on the Mercedes even though this is just a blend level remap – It is certainly smoother with more power especially in the 1800-2800 rpm range where we most often drive and is also the area most economical in acceleration – So all in a great benefit in power and economy

Ford Transit Connect 1.8 TDCi 110 Remap

Again a blend level remap for improved performance and fuel economy. These 110BHp versions of the connect are not slow in teh first place but the extra power will come in handy when loaded up for work

Audi TT 2.0 TFSi Remap

The 2.0 TFSi engine common to many vag vehicles tunes extremely well – gains of 50bhp 90nm are possible from the remap alone – This one will have much more smoother power and better throttle response thanks to an hour and a quarters worth of the finest tinkering

Vauxhall Vivaro 2.5 cdti remap

The 2.5 litre Vivaro is quite uncommon most were 1.9 litre and later 2.0 litre versions – this dual cab one looks like those origionaly owned by coca cola so would have been well serviced and ripe for a remap – gains are great and fuel economy and throttle response also improved

Just about to celebrate its 10th birthday the Cls and for its birthday it gets a remap – loads of extra power, throttle response and more mpg – happy 10th birthday CLS

Ford Focus 1.8 Remap

Naturally aspirated petrol engines are not the biggest gainers in power from remapping but the gains that are made are linear (right through the rev range) and throttle response does make the difference so it is certainly worthwhile

BMW E46 M3 Remap

This has to be the cleanest engine bay I have ever seen on a car with 100k – In fact the whole car belied its age and miles – Our remap on these cars will give extra power right through the rev range remove the 155mph speed limiter for those occasions it is legal to drive at warp speed and also raise the rev limiter so the engine can rev out longer. All in its a great benefit for a keen driver

BMW E90 320D 163Bhp Remap

Quick and economical the 320d is such a sensible car to choose with german reliability – If you want to improve it a remap does just that more power – now over 200BHp sharper throttle response smoother and with added fuel economy its a great car now

VW Golf 1.4 TSi 170 Remap

With just 1.4 litres of capacity you wouldn’t think this golf packs much of a punch but it is twin charged – supercharged and turbocharged making 170Bhp in stock form – but there is more available from remapping another 30BHp 60Nm is a pretty decent gain from a small engine

Gain 40BHP 80Nm
Its always hard to quote on VAG group TDis after march 2009 – mostly we can tune them OBD but if we do not have original software on our database or the ecu is an edc17cp14 variant they ae still bench tunes – this was one of those cp14s ( well it would be it was a Friday and I was in Norwich – miles from home )
It does take a little longer but still under 2 hours to remove open read tune and write the ecu – not bad and the gains are well worthwhile

VW Golf 2.0 GTD Remap

The MK5 Golf GTD has 170 BHp in stock form so its pretty nippy, but nice gains can be had from tuning the Siemens ECU and this one we know is a simple OBD Remap that takes an hour all in. Best of all we don’t even get our hands dirty – although Shane could have swept the garage floor as I have knee marks on my jeans – perhaps I should send him the washing

Ford Mondeo 2.2 Tdci Remap

This 2007 Mondeo was nice low mileage and good colour with all the toys including satnav and is good for many years yet even though most would seek out one of its german competitors and pay a lot more money – 155BHp is pretty good but a remap makes it smoother and quicker

BMW E46 330Ci Cabriolet Remap

This must be one of the lowest mileage e46s I have seen for a long time only 58k miles and like pretty much all E46s in excellent condition – They offer a great sound and good power but remapping improves that even further – now with an added 22 Bhp 30NM and improved throttle response

BMW e85 Z4 2.0 Remap

BMWs with 4 cylinder petrol engines have all the show and not much go – 150BHp in stock form, massive flat spot between 1700-2100 rpm and a throttle that only vaguely seems connected to the engine – Our remap for this vehicle cures the flat spot, improves throttle response and give more power – Just what you need when this car was a replacement for a Z4M – that must have hurt ( that might explain the parking in the middle of the road )
