Subaru Impreza WRX 2.0 Remap

ECU Remapped 01/07/2013
Gain 30BHp peak 45BHp in rev range, 55Nm Peak 80Nm in Rev range
This was an amazing Bugeye WRX only 39k miles from new and in stock form except decatted and an pipercross air filter – looking very unmolested and ripe for a remap to give it that bit extra – widening the usable power band certainly makes for a easier car to live with

Mercedes Vito 113 CDi Remap

Gain 38Bhp 75Nm
The latest 113 diesel Vitos have a Delphi ecu that can be remapped via the ODB port so is easier than late transporters etc with their tuning protected bosch ecus – the gains are excellent too in just over an hour on the laptop this Vito how has 167BHp pretty pokey for a van – one for  Sabine Schmitz to test out

Peugeot 207 1.6 HDi 90 Remap

When you have moved from an Audi 1.9 tdi 130 the Little Pug couldn’t pull you out of bed in the morning despite being considerably lighter – Remap option selected not 115BHp and with oodles of extra torque this would be on par with the Audi and its lighter – mission accomplished

 

Mercedes Sprinter 313 Remap

Les had been quoted £400 and 3 days to get his Sprinter remapped by another company but we assured him this was too expensive for an OBD Remap and 3 days is ridiculous – we had it mapped in just over an hour and with great results – finishing at 11.00 am gave him time to even get some work done this afternoon

BMW X5 E70 35X-Drive Remap

There is plenty of power (286 Bhp) in stock form but 341BHp is even better and with a huge boost in torque figures they make a very nice drive indeed

Subaru Impreza WRX Estate Remap

Nice gains at peak on the Impreza WRX but even more through the rev range up to 45BHp and 80Nm at some points making a wider more usable power band – And these Bugeyes are now very good value for a swift and tuneable car

BMW E60 520D DPF Delete

Citroen Berlingo 2, 1.6 HDI 75 Remap

January 2012 means this Citroen was fitted with the edc17c10 ecu that requires bench tuning but no problem to us – very slow read write and coding on the file meant it took a good 2 and a half hours but the results were great from a plodder of a van to a nippy little number – I’m very jealous of the enterprise spec though,  air con and leccy windows in todays weather is a boon

BMW E90 320D 163Bhp Remap

Massive gains on the 163BHp edc16 version of the BMW 320D better fuel economy, more poke, better throttle response, smoother power delivery – ding dong – beats the tuning box previously fitted hands down

Ford Mondeo 2010 TDCi DPF Delete

First Delphi dcm 3.5 DPF delete on a Ford Mondeo today – seemed straightforward actually – after months of battling with the software we now have the answer for the later Delphi ecu’d cars to match the earlier Siemens ecus

Audi S3 2.0 TFSi Remap

Gain 45Bhp 90Nm
With a DSG gearbox this is a 2010 low mileage vehicle but was suffering a bit of turbo lag and the gearbox didn’t have the sharpest of changes – everything was in order on the car so we gave it a performance tune which not only gives more power and torque but while we didn’t remap the gearbox ecu the engine ecu remap will sharpen up the gear changes and reduce the turbo lag as well

BMW 123D Coupe Remap

2008 means we can tune these edc17 tri-core ecus via the diagnostic port – 50 minutes and a healthy extra wodge of power and super super smooth delivery make a great drivers car

Audi RS4 4.2 Remap

What a beauty of an engine and 420Bhp in stock form so 25 BHp doesn’t sound a lot but it makes a big difference in throttle response – we also fitted a Simota panel air filter which also helps – I know small turbocharged engines are very popular now but there is an old saying “There is no substitute for CCs”

2012 BMW 335D Remap

Even the very late 335ds have bosch edc16 ecus so can be remapped via the diagnostic port in about 90 minutes giving a much smoother stronger power delivery and as long as you don’t drive too hard all the time improved fuel economy too

Saab 9-5 2.3 Turbo Remap

Big difference on the Big Saab – much more punch
Bit of a wait though 1 hour 5 minute read – no software driver for this software type so had to devise one – so the writing of the file took another hour then 2 failed write attempts before the car finally accepted the new file – Trionic T7 ecus – wouldn’t want to work on these every day

Alfa Romeo GT 1.9 JTD Remap

Nice little coupes the Alfa GT, especially when leathered up and in a dark colour and the 1.9JTD is a decent engine , but a bit underwhelming but that is massively improved with a remap now 188 Bhp and boatloads of torque its a huge difference

BMW X5 E70 3.0D Remap

The E70 X5 is a great vehicle one of the best 4WDs
and with a remap the power is amazing – so much improvement in bhp torque and smoother power delivery – and don’t forget the improved mpg too

Mercedes Vito 120cdi 204bhp Remap

The Vito Dualiner is a handy thing – takes the kids out, use it for work , its a swiss army knife of a vehicle. Something for Daddy though is the remap – now its fun to drive too and good for her in doors as well as the fuel economy will be improved so more housekeeping on its way

Audi A8 4.2 TDi 322BHp Remap

The D3 Audi A8 is an amazing car all the toys you will ever need – swift and powerful – so good it needs two ecus to power it – but why not make a good car even better with a little tweek on the engine management – 50BHp 120Nm yeeeha   now that’s what I’m talking about

VW Caddy 2.0 SDi Remap

Not enormous gains but our own experience tells us that as well as a bit more power and freer revving engine improvements of 50-60 miles per tankful as well

VW Transporter 2.5 TDi 130 Remap

The Transporter is the best van in its class – incredibly well built and reliable we have seen these with genuinely 300k miles still going strong – now with a remap its faster and more economical too

Mini One 1.6 Remap

The mini is much improved with a remap even in this basic form ( despite this one looking like a cooper s jcw it wasn’t)
they are really well finished and despite being just about 10 years old still looks fresh

Ford Mondeo ST 2.2 TDCi Remap

155Bhp in stock form is ok but the improvements are vey good giving sharper 1st and 2 gears and more punch through the rev range – oh yes and improved economy too
